This morning at the beach i pulled the shafts apart as i tried to adjust the length. Hate it when that happens.
So here is my fix, tiny bit of spray paint to mark the ideal length.
Some detectors have some marks on the shaft to perform the same function but my Simplex+ doesn't.
i love that folding tab for locking in the shaft, much better than pushing buttons and sliding the holes up and down!
