Michigan resident in the Flint / Genesee County Area. Been detecting on and off (mostly off) since around 2000. First machine was a Minelab Excal, then a White's (don't remember the model). Will likely go with a Garrett AT Max. Glad to be on!

Welcome to FMDF! I'm currently out of Grand Rapids but swing anywhere I can. Feel free to check out my blog if you get a chance. Still some areas to dig in the Mitt with this crazy "winter" so far.

How long do you anticipate being in the area? I know it’s cold and I don’t even have my machine yet but it would be nice to eventually get out with a digging buddy.
