My first hunt in several years. small buckle, broken snaffle bit, two small caliber lead bullets appear to have been round ball, grubbing hoe head. All from the small block of woods behind my house. Dug a lot of junk not pictured. Hopefully some coins the next hunt. High potential I think from area a house used to sit. Big pile of very old bricks I'm guessing from the chimney. Some huge trees and plants that people plant in yards. From the oldest topo I could find it showed a house there in 1938.

Glad your back to swinging. I take long breaks between hunts, then the bug bites again. It's always interesting to see what relics are in your yard. I always do well on coins where people parked their cars.

Good advice. I also heard to try find where cloths line ran. Never tried that one but have been meaning to try it.

Definitely looks like there's some history out there, go slow and really listen to each tone, try to become one with your machine  keep us posted!
