Took a friend out hunting this morning.
Couple old homesteads. I had gotten him a new Patriot but he hadn't used it so I tried it. Way diff than my MXT. I did learn the tone for shells. He found a Washington tax token and 3 pocket watches . I found a small hammer by a natural spring.


guess I took them upside down !!!!

Thanks, he was tickled. My only consolation was finding the hammer. I've got a half dozen in various sizes. my first ever artifact was a hammer find.
