Reusing the old phones for a pinpoint mod. Which wires do I need to connect to the black/white female connector?

My guess...just connect the yellow to one side and the red to the other...should work...I have a set here but they belong to someone else, when I opened them yellow is one side with other wires and red is on the other...

like + red
Yellow --

It makes no difference which wires goes to the red and black two pin connector.

I am thinking it is red and black or white and black.

Can't tell at the headphones as the potting hides it.



Only 2 that give a slight buzz on the 9 v.......

Any other way to tell?

Looks like red and black...when I pulled these apart
