Very Odd Coin

Hi Guys,

I was hunting yesterday. I found a different coin. Came in as a quarter and I thought it was a half dollar but on the back side its a different print!! I am not sure what this is but maybe somebody can help me on this one?

I was going through my tokens that I have found over the years and got a old coin?? I can not find the age of this one. May be VERY old?? Not sure how to find the details on it.

Yeah, I need to be more specific. Yes, the magic coin I now know what it is.. The holed coin is VERY old I guess!

I am shocked it is that old!!! I was going through my tokens that I have collected over the years. Found it mixed in with them. Does it have any value?? I don't even remember finding it.. LOL!!

yes...it is part of a cin trick called the "scotch and soda". ...google it and you will see your coin in the images.

I own this coin trick and it has stumped everyone I have ever done it on. Its quite fun and really tricky. cool find

From what I’ve read, a lot of Chinese cash coins were in barrells for years, sometimes centuries before actually being released into circulation. That explains why a coin from 1600s looks better than a U.S. 1800 coin.

At the same time I’m confused on the original post. Some seem to know the point but I’m lost, sorry. Is it half Kennedy dollar half Mexican or is that 2 different coins?

Edited to add... if so that’s odd (in my mind) since it’s 2 different silver alloys
