Got out for the first time in a week or so on Sunday. Conditions were not favorable with rock hard dry ground and no cloud cover. The ground out here in Colorado gets absolutely cooked by the sun during the summer and if we go significant amounts of time w/out rain it makes for very difficult digging.

But I powered through and still managed to pull a decent amount of keepers.
The ground at the park I was hunting has some kind of alien fertilizer and all the clad and wheats were unreadable, had to immediately tumble them when I got home to get any details.

Also got my first trade token for the year, good for 5 cents at "The Big 7 Pool Hall". Tried looking it up online but haven't been able to find any info on it yet.

Thanks for looking, hope you all are able to get out

That's a great outing! Congrats. Too hot here. My bread and butter is door knocking, but right now plugs would just be impossible and the grass would die. Hoping for rain this weekend and cooler temps.
