Anyone in Buffalo NY or WNY area?

Hello, cheektowaga here as well. I am very new to detecting and was wondering whats on and off limits in the area? How the police view the hobby ? I went to glen park the other day and everone was very friendly. I learned alot more about my machine over the week and am excited to use it somewhere other that the back yard.
