Found these today in a city front lawn. They aren't magnetic. Maybe lead. Seem to have maybe been one piece in the past. One side of them has a herring bone or knurled patter on it. Weird.

Lead 100% sure, those are body lead for body work on cars..

cool. Do you think they are old? I would guess 50yrs maybe? I wouldn't think there was much lead repair done later than that. But anyway... Thanks!

My dad used lead for car body work into the late 1980s...

Some guys who do custom show type cars, rod and custom types, prefer lead over bondo even today...

Also used to lead seams on gutters.
