There is a Minelab Safari for sale local to me, claims to have been used a couple of times. They are asking $500. Is this machine worth picking up? My girlfriend likes to tag along as well, this would give her something better to swing than her ace 300. I have a CTX myself but like to mess around with other gear and will still use my AT Pro at some sites. Is there anything in particular I should look at on this machine to see if it is an older generation/lots of mileage? Looks clean in the pictures.
Can anyone sell me on this machine? I heard its great on coins. I also plan on having some friends tag along at times and would be a good spare machine. Also, can anyone turn me away from the prospective purchase?
