Introducing an old timer to MD

I plan to go out with an 80 year old friend who has never md before but is really interested I what this is all about. Physically hel'll be just fine - he's in good shape. I want it to be a positive experience. We plan to go to a beach 7/5 in the early morning where we know there will be a pretty large crowd the night before. He can use my 250 and spare scoop. I know that even with discrimination he'll be hitting a lot of junk but there should be enough clad and other targets that should keep him interested.
