I just got my 10x12 sef coil from kellyco. I'm using it on my etrac. And I have to say I'm pretty upset. If its not any worse than my stock pro coil, its exactly the same. Bot have about a 5in air test. I tried it for 4 hour s straight in an area I know to have deep good targets. I was thinking maybe one of my settings was bugging it out or maybe the way I wrapped the coil was constricting the em field. Has anyone else had a problem like this with an sef? Should i send it back?I'm gonna do some extensive depth testing tomorrow morning against my stock pro 11in.
I also noticed that when I'd run the plug (with target in it) over the top of the coil, half the time it wouldn't pick it up.
The soil on the area I'm digging isn't particularly difficult either, I get my sensitivity up to 30 no problem with noise cancel lvl6. Deep on, fast on,
