After getting a good 14K fix from the water yesterday, I decided to take it easy today and just get a shorty hunt in at a park up the road from where I'm staying...

The park looked older but I didn't even find a wheat.. It stared getting to dang hot for this water pirate so I decided I would quit after scanning the tot lot.. BINGO!! I found gold #32 of the season! Not sure what karat it is as the number was removed during sizing, but there is a hallmark and a K... This is my fouth tot lot gold ever...

Thanks for looking!!

Good luck to all!

Congrats on that dirty gold. I know gold is non-magnetic, but you, my friend, are a GOLD MAGNET! : ) Keep up the great hunts.

Thanks guys!

I had what they call burnt ends at a BBQ joint called the Filling Station..

I can die now...Lol. I was just awesome!

Congrats on another gold! How long are you in KC for? Wish I had known you were in town-- would love to have met up with you for a hunt. If you ever get back to KC again give me a pm. I'm only about 35 miles south. Chip

Unfortunately my remaining time here is pretty booked with studys and work.. I'll be headed back to MI Friday morning.. Very happy to be taking a couple gold rings home as souvenirs! This is the one 14K 6.6 gram I pulled out of a lake yesterday...

Well, give me a shout if you ever get back this way. If you got time for 1 more BBQ run before you leave town, try Oklahoma Joes -- couple places in town. They have a great Carolina pulled pork sandwich!
