Would you believe it started as a minus 5 on the Nox! but for some reason, I dug it.
It got better after each scoop .. finally bounced between 18 & 19.
So it really does pay to dig everything at the beach .. you just never know!
Also, I have decided not to polish this one .. the patina on it looks too nice!

How gorgeous is that !! If indeed a sapphire I'm going to say it is a Ceylon sapphire, they are of a lighter blue.
