Went to a tot lot only to discover another MD'er there 
Talked to him a bit - seems he's been at it 25 years. I walked over to the volleyball courts and found a buck and change in about an hour and then headed to the tot lot since he had left. He did a pretty good job but forgot to check around the slides where I found a quick 75 cents. All in all found just over a buck in about 45 minutes of searching. Headed back to the (double) volleyball court and put the ace on a nickle, pulltab (for possible rings) and quarter mode. In my last 15 minutes just got 1 hit, a quarter. All in all $2.61 in two hours of MD'ing.
I also found a few trinkets and another car -- pictures below............
