Found this in a field where I’ve found stuff from early 1800’s to early 1900’s. Curious what this is as I have no idea but it looks neat. I believe it’s made of lead.

Possible bowl leg although I can't see any fixing points on your one?

Not sure doorstops are ever made of lead. Seems too small also. Figural doorstops, most often, are cast iron.

That’s what I was thinking. Also I know you can’t really tell by the pictures but it doesn’t sit 100 percent flat laying down either. Not sure if was intended to or not.

That was my first thought but there is definitely no fixture points and I don’t see any indicator that there ever was. To me it looks all in tact and how it was originally made. If I had to guess I would say Victorian bookend and there was another to go with it. Even then it seems to small and awkwardly shaped.
