huge bullet found deep in a german forest

I wanna show you a big bullet that I found in a german forest. It's realy big, maybe it belonged a combat plane or something? What do u thing?

Can't say, could be a .50 Caliber Round out of a P-51 with a tracer, judging by the end. I'm no expert though. Is the end hollowed out somewhat?
