I finally managed to get out for a bit and found an 1877 seated dime. Its really scratched from being plowed for 100 years or so. Its my first so I'm still happy about it.

That is a great find. I've yet to find one and I'm sure many others haven't as well. Count yourself blessed!
 
Excellent find. There is nothing like find a coin like this in a field. Makes you wounder just how many more are just waiting to be found
 
Way to go on the seated dime BillV. Like Zoy stated it is a great find no matter what condition. Hoping this season I find something seated.
 
Bill... nice coin... your coin looks like it was in the surf... thats how they look when I dig them out of their watery grave :grin:
