Silver Crucifix

I went detecting with my Atpro in the light rain for a two hour hunt at a park and dug up a dark cross, I thought might be pewter, then I noticed 925 stamped on back so I cleaned n it up with polishing cloth and it started to shine. Cross was about four inches deep. The pics are before and after I cleaned it.

silver crucifix

The crucifix weighs .5 grams and the quarter shows size of it, a picture of it probably weighs more than the crucifix. But it is silver and makes for a successful hunt.
