The new Sovereign is picking up where the Sand Shark left off. Last two nights, I have found 13 rings in around 5 hours on the head phones. Of the 13, 4 are gold or Platinum, 7 are silver and 2 are junk. I have a 15" WOT coil and all the parts for a waterproof box on the way.

Photo #1 The whole nut!
#2 20.2 gram 18K diamond ring.
#3 3.3 gram 18k/Pt.900 ring
#4 3.3 gram Pt.900 ring
#5 2.1 gram 18K White Gold lady's Diamond ring.
Enjoy!!

A HUGE Congrats on those fantastic finds! Guam found a ring just like that huge 18K w/diamond a few months ago in Guam! I can only dream of finding something that great. Good luck on future hunts. : )

Went back to the same beach tonight for the 1 am low tide. Started swinging at 11:00 pm and pushed it a little to hard. I got a little to deep and the plug on the sovereign got wet. I had it chest mounted and the whole thing wrapped in a heavy duty trash bag. At 12:15 the Sovereign went crazy. The water was past my waist, but about 3" below the plug. I started digging a target and bent a little to low and wet the plug. I got home as quick as I could. The beach I am hunting is over a hour away from the house. I have the whole control box and the end of the plug in a container of rice. Anyone ever have this happen? What should I do? The bad thing was the tide was just getting right. In the last 15 mins of the hunt I popped out two silver rings. The best one is 16 grams. The water was just getting low enough to get to the lane were all the goodies are. I ended up with a little over 1400 yen. I hope I didn't ruin my Sovereign. I just ordered the nice $200 Ikelite box and cable clams to water proof it.

Send it to authorized tech. They will determine the extent of the damage. Very sorry to hear of the accident, you seem to be on a roll. Real bummer. Hope all works out ok.
