I walked down to the beach this morning and turned on my detector..Walked 5 feet and BEEP !! Looked at the silver in the sand and new instantly that it was good just from the patina..Turned it over and immediately saw the hallmark.. .925 Silver Mexico
What a great way to start a promising New Year..
I missed low tide and the conditions were pretty lousy everywhere here, but I did manage to find $1.51 in Clad and the silver piece.....
It looks like it broke off of something (hair piece, bracelet, jewelry) as you can see where it cracked at the top by the solder...Plus it was bent pretty good with a huge gash..So I may have hit it, but I didn't think so..
Either way I'm very pleased
