Found this copper piece in the middle of Danbury, right next to the new police station.
It looks like a part of something used for transmission of some sort of signal.
The quality of the piece and attention to details make me think about the beginning of XX century.

I would appreciate any ideas on what it could be?

It has a stamp on the back - I was able to google that part, but it just told you who made this piece, but not what it was attached to.

Somebody sold one with a similar front piece on eBay recently. https://www.ebay.com/itm/vintage-1920s-old-brass-american-eagle-tuner-antique-radio-take-a-look/141918968370?hash=item210b079a32

Great job, gentlemen!

I was able to google this radio as soon as ncplumber gave me a tip in the morning.
But - thanks for helping anyway.
It’s an exact match and I appreciate your help.

This is the piece that was attached to one of the first US home radios and to the most beautiful one from the ones I was able to find. :)

Definitely looks like a radio from the Browning Labs company... they made a "golden eagle" etc. Old CB and Ham radios from 1958-1979. Look likes the photo of the one from ebay is close! Out of Laconia, New Hampshire
