Is there a (readable) date code on the bottom? Can you add a photo?

I'm worried that if you can't find it, there's no way I will! I've seen you call some impressive calls in the help me identify forum. But every now and then, the blind pig finds the truffle

Sorry no date code. It isn't a Zippo Its a Wellington Windproof, Japan Probably from the 50's

I think its home made from the Chrysler 100 logo http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Forward_Look_D100.jpg
