Meteorite?

Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences in finding meteorite fragments? tones/VDI numbers etc... Is there a special kind of MD or MD attachment specifically designed for scanning for meteorites? Or will any old MD pick it up?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think most meteorite fragments will be in the iron range. If thats the case I don't think you will need any specific attachments, but good luck finding them.

Those dudes on TV also carry a walking stick with a magnet on it.
