Best Silver Day Ever!

At least once a day, I have been passing this open field with two rusted and battered baseball backstops tucked in the back with the idea that I should hunt it. Well today, I did and scored my best Silver day ever. 4 Rosies and a very nice Sterling Silver Piece that is still a puzzle to me. Any ideas on what the Silver piece was used as would be appreciated. As you could guess, I plan to pound the field hard in the next few weeks and hope to be able to report more great finds.

The brooch is semi old because it says sterling on it and not .925. Newer silver says .925. Congrats on a great day!

When did they make the switch from sterling to .925?

Nice hunt. Love the pin/brooch. Looks to be from the art nouveau era - late 1800's through early 1900's. I've got a couple similar brass items. The motif of sunsets, female profiles and wavy hair seems to have been a popular one in that era. Congrats on a beautiful find!
