Found this from a pretty old site in MA, US. I wouldn't think the plating would come off a plated ring inside of 40 years old but I don't have that much detecting experience. Ring is pretty crudely made. Anyone with some insight?

No markings, it looks like it was cast and then and finished. It has a faint seam all the way around bisecting it. It was definitely plated or guilded the gold is gone but whatever they use underneath to bond the gold, copper maybe, is still there. Its kinda flaking off. Like I said it kinda looks like it could have been a cheap piece of 70-80's jewelery but the cross and general crudeness of the mold makes me think differently

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. Anyone have any experience finding a plated ring in this bad of shape?
