Anyone use 9v re-chargeables for their MD'rs?I havent even gone through my first set of alkaline
batteries in my Bounty Hunter but I was thinking of
the enviornment and cost effectiveness.

I use 'em in my Tesoros, but I always have fresh alkalines just in case as back ups. It's true that the rechargeables don't last as long as alkalines, too, but I too think about the environment.

hey guys,
I own the Fisher F2 and F5. Right off the bat when I got my Fisher F2 last year the one thing I wasn't going to do was buy battery's all the time. Therefore, I bought two Tenergy charges and the 9volt batteries that come with it.
I have the light green and the light blue 200 batteries

This is more descriptive and this battery works well with my detectors, no problems

I haven't tried the solid blue color 9volt battery's but they are a 250
I would buy from any of the stores but I did have a crappy experience using one of them in the propointer, from what I remember it didnt work well for some reason. I will try again.

I could care less about the environment. I'm more worried about my wallet - so I use rechargeables as well. They don't last quite as long but who cares? Just charge them an hour or so after each hunt - or carry extra rechargeables on the hunt, in case one dies. Haven't used alkalines in a good while. I see no point except as backup backups.

I use the 9.6V Maha Imedion - 9.6 Volt rechargeable Ni-MH replacement battery pack

Thanks for all the replies, I'll let you know how mine work when i get them. I went with the 250 mah ones which advertised use for detectors. HH!
