The bush is finally drying out here allowing more spots to be hunted. I got out with canadianguy to a spot we have hit many times over the years but it is such a big area we are still pulling coins here and there.
For me my best find is the little baseball pitcher award medallion, Champion pitcher 1950! Also got a few coins including an 1888 one centavo, and one green coin that I have soaking in peroxide at the moment trying to get a good ID but we are pretty sure it is a mexican revolution era coin, something that never pops out in my neck of the woods.
UPDATE, it is actually a silver reale, it must have been lying next to copper or something to go odd colored like that, silver usually cvomes out clean... No legible date, but that style was 1826 until 1869, zacatecas mint.
HH all!
