Awesome finds I was đź‘€ over this thread after seeing the cool tank thread. This is a super fun thread, I was thinking man I wish I have found some lead toys then I noticed your lil revolver lead gun here and realized I think I have the same gun from when I first started detecting in 2013!! I'll have to take a picture and attach it here.... sure wish I didn't have a 3 year hiatus from the hobby! Love this thread and love your finds!! Picture coming soon! I'm sure more will surface such a fun hobby! My wife is doing it a lot with me now as well!! We found an old machete and from what I can tell a Calvary butoun from the 1860s. Definitely going back to that site! I'm sure it could possible have lead toys the site is from mid to late 1800s last home torn down in the 1990s! Anyhow... Happy Hunting to you and all! Figured this thread needed a bump back to the top!!

When I get back to work (been on vacation) I'll post a pick of a lead toy tank I found on a military WWII training base. Lead toys for kids... boy, what we know now about lead. Lol.

Well I can not put my finger on it right now but somewhere around here I have a lead toy ww2 battleship I dug in a curbstrip.

Best find of the day...

Bring em out everyone, thanks again for your additions!

This is my only one that i’ve Found. Found it last year.

If you're only going to find one, that's awesome..

I can't believe you've only found one, based on your "everything else" you've found...

Thanks for sharing, at least it's a cool one, and a first on this thread..

Hoping you find more!

Glad I was able to contribute to the thread. I always thought I'd have found more too. Mine was made from a kit made in the 1930's http://www.girdersandgears.com/kaster.html

Just found this thread, thanks to member Toysoldier's recent find, and your link to here. Thanks Ice Scratcher. Great thread; worth keeping alive.
Only have a couple lead toys to show.
I found the toy soldier this year. My first one.
I dug the squirt gun several years ago. If I fix a water balloon on the handle end, it will still shoot!

Found another toy soldier! This one was about 3 feet away from the one I found the day before yesterday. Apparently the kiddo liked to play right outside the back door.

The toy soldier is marked "Union of Africa" and him and his base were nearly thrown in the trash bucket until I decided to put them in my pouch to be cleaned later. I don't know if his feet had long ago detached, or if I did it while digging. I've included a photo I found online of the set dating to the 1950s.

Also found a Shell Famous American's Prize Game Coin/Token from 1968 and what appears to be a little metal bird.

The nickel is shown for scale.
