Who makes the best hand digger?

I use the wooden handled Hori-Hori knife. i have been using variations of it for about forty years and never have once felt like it might break. I have actually pounded it into rock hard clay. I wouldn't try that with a Lesche. You can find them on Amazon starting around $15.00.

Looking for recommendations!

As mentioned, all depends on where/how you're hunting. I don't use hand diggers in crop fields, nor long-handled shovels in a park.yard.

I'll assume you're talking hand diggers....

The toughest one I've found is a Garrett, though in another discussion someone posted a link where they are identical to Wilcox.
