Default Bronze coin from 1741

It used to belong to my Granddad and it is the same coin as in the other thread about a coin from 1741 in that post there was not much information about it and i was wandering if anyone knew about it.

if you read on you would find that the one in the game is aluminium + copper and my one is bronze i have tried to add pictures but it didnt work when i tried first time

We already have a multi page thread on this coin, and yours is the same mystery bronze one that has been found all over the Unites States. Perhaps the mods could merge this in with the multi page thread? Hate to have two of these going.

Perhaps a member contest, a prize to the first one to confirm what the blasted thing is from

I'am actually English but i know that my granddad who used to own the coin did visit the USA at least once and a competition to see who can identify it would be good.
