Why...I am!

Two nice boneless ribeyes we got on sale last night, a couple of baked potatoes and garlic toast.
The wife probably will have some salad but not for this carnivore.

This is the south so they are marinating as we speak.
Another pic will be posted after cooking during rest time while the juices redistribute.

I made lemon-pepper chickenbreasts covered with sliced tomatoes and with cheese melted on top. (I made steak yesterday and wanted something different for today)

I'm saving my cookin' till next weekend. Gotta cook for my Legion Post. Gonna spend about 10-12 hours smokin' about 50 lbs of brisket , and about 40 lbs of pork butts. Slow cookin' , smokin' with wood only. I'll try taking a few pics. I need to learn how to post pics on here anyway. I got some pics Mud's been wanting to see as well.

Oops, sorry...I forgot to take a pic after they were done and now they are gone.
The were perfect, but you will have to trust me on that.

After taking the time to cook'em , what's more important, eatin', or pictures.
Yep, eatin'. We'll take your word for it. :good:

Here's a thread that should help with how to post pics -

That's going to help for sure. My only problem is my computer only works sometimes, and for short periods. It has some kind of virus I guess. It freezes up a lot. I'm usually on an I Pad, like now. Is there a way to post them from a pad ? I just haven't broke down and picked another computer yet.

I have been using the free version of Malwarebytes for years and it has worked fine, it "Detects and removes malware and advanced threats" -

https://www.malwarebytes.com/premium/

Also I have occasionally used their free adware remover, adware is not a virus, but can still slow things down -

It wouldn't hurt to try the above, it just might surprise you if it finds and removes whatever has been giving you a problem.

Rubbed and slathered with yellow mustard for an overnight soak. On at 5:15 AM.

Well, I'm 8.5 hours in (at 225*), and stalled at 170*, so a few more hours to go. I will post a pic when she's outta the smoker.

12 hours exactly, 195* internal temp. About half the time I'll pull and wrap in foil for the last 2-3 hours. Left-overs get froze (for an easy nuke-box warm-up), and some made into pulled-pork BBQ
