I'm new on the forum - don't have a machine yet. We just bought retirement property that's been heavily logged over the years, stone walls in the back of the property (500' higher than the front!) and used to be the site of a CCC camp. You can see why I want a machine.

Anyway, here's the ax head I found in the driveway culvert about three weeks after we put it in. I think a moose kicked it there.

Nice find... and by the way... you may not be a hunter, but moose meat is the best meat I have ever had.... excuse me if you are a vegan... but had to mention that. Good luck on your property.. probably a lot of relics... HH RickO

If you can find stuff on top of the ground like that,theres no telling what you'll find
with a detector.Good luck !!!

I don't hunt either, but I won't turn it down!

We look all the time now anyway. A MD will only help us look.
