Hello all,
My name is Jay. I live in central FL. Does anyone know of any places in the are or coasts that I can try to get some finds. Not to sure where to go. Takes a while to get to the coasts and with the price of gas even though my vehicle gets ok mileage. I hate to waste a trip just to get kicked off beaches and the like. So local places would be better. Thanks in advance ;)

Welcome to the forum Jay. There's quite a few members here in Florida. I'm sure they'll be able to give you some tips. What kind of detector are you swinging?

Welcome Jay!

Indeed... plenty of FL members here who might be be able to give you some local tips, but don't expect anyone to hand over thier hunting grounds to you. They are coveted.

Hi Jay and welcome! I can't help with your question but there's a few Floridians on here who might be able to help.. Good luck hunting.. Nice to see another
RedSox fan around too..

I live in Arkansas and it's a long way to a salt water beach. So I
hunt any fresh water swim beach I can.

My best booty comes from play grounds and surrounding areas. I
sold 90 grams of gold to the refinery. Mostly 14k gold. That was
found in a 7 month period with only one good beach hunt. The rest
was asociated with tot lots and the area around a swimming pool.

That's what I do when I am well enough.

I also enjoy the woods, and the historical research in rellic and
artifact hunting.

Happy Hunting,
