Bullet & peeled wheat.

Is this a civil War Bullet? and what info can you give me on it?

Next I found a penny I thought was just a cruddy mem. When I washed it with a toothbrush and Dawn it peeled a later off the front and back. It was a 1944 Wheat but it looks like the copper is gone.

Hole in the bottom of bullet.

I was just at a hardware store and they happen to be a White's MD dealer, I was looking through their display case of found items and they had several of the same type of bullet. Next time I'm in their I'll ask about these type of bullets.

Just did a quick google search, looks like a Minie Ball bullet. They were used during the civil war.
