The weather was excellent today -- 65 degrees plus. Some said it got up to the mid 70's today (might have). I was pretty warm. And for once it wasn't raining -- but it is coming back in on Wednesday. :( At least it isn't snow!

The first hunt was only about an hour -- had somewhere I had to go after lunch so I didn't get to hunt long. But the best find of the day (or most unusual thing found) was a 10 Cent Euro. The picture makes it look silver but it is gold colored.

The second hunt was close to a three hour hunt. So I had plenty of time to dig. At least I was able to get out and get some exercise. So far my hunts haven't been the greatest -- nothing to brag about yet. I'm so ready for Spring -- so tired of this winter!

Lunch Hunt: Clad - .10, Zinc - .04, 10 Cent Euro

Evening Hunt: Clad - $2.05, Copper - .05, Zinc - .13

Thanks for looking! GL & HH

1973s

One of the copper pennies in this last hunt was a 1973S. I looked it up and it is not valuable but I've never had a 1973S penny. So it is pretty cool to have. You just don't see the S mint mark often in pennies. At least I haven't seen them very much.
