I was able to check two CoinStar machines today and on the second one I got my first silver coin of the year, a 1943 Mercury Dime. There was also 58 cents in US clad plus a Canadian quarter.

Nice one.. A Merc to boot.. Been dry all year myself, less and less cashing in coins I think and less cash carried anymore..

Awesome on the Merc! CS's been 'quiet' here too most of the time. My 12 year old boy likes to beat me to them and has come up with two silvers I think so far....

Thanks Groundsweeper.........your 12 year old boy beats you to the machine? You'd better get a pair of good running shoes to keep up with him..

Way to go on the Coinstar Merc! Nothing much exciting for me in a while, I did find a few common foreign coins the other day and a couple of days earlier a memorial penny.
