Found a 1966 silver Canadian quarter in change today.

Mabey someone can recommend a good Canadian Coin reference guide to me. I would like something comparable to the US Red Book.

Thanks!

There's a catalogue called " World Coins "...it's got everything in it ; your local library probably has a copy.. Roadrunner_426

I dont think a 66 canadian quarter is silver, I could be wrong, but as a collectible, it would only be worth silver content

Yes, it is silver; about .15 ounces. I have some old Canadian coins and would like to learn more about Canada's coins in general. Collecting US coins, I run across them every now and then. I have an old large cent and some early small cents as well as some older silver.

I have an extensive Canadian collection, and I found Calgary coins the most useful link that I have found as far as prices and variety. smg
