Yesterday I was detecting a really trashy site that's full of screw caps. I was swinging along when I heard another screw cap type sound. I didn't even look at the screen, just knelt down and plunged the lesche into the dirt and popped out the target. At first I thought it was a token, but when I picked it up I soon realized I had just dug my first silver dollar. After 5 years I still love this hobby! HH!

Very nice find! Surprising what you find when you dig the JUNK signals... I got my 1854 "Trime" 3-cent piece the same way! Congrats on a very nice save!

Whoa mama! That's a nice find...big congrats on getting into that club.

It's stories like this that inspire us to keep on going when digging up all those bottle caps and rusty nails.

Yeah, I just love the detail on those old screw caps. They don't make em like that anymore.

Congrats!!! Seriously, they really don't make em like that anymore!!
