Antique whites gold master

Found an antique whites gold master in an antique store for $39. It says as is but it's not turning on. It has three coils. Looks like a 12 in a 6 in and a 3 inch sniper coil. Looks like it's in great condition. Is it worth the 39 bucks?

they seem to go for about $50 in working order online... $39 isn't bad I guess, I'd get it for wall decor haha

These old Whites do not take normal batteries. I would check around to see if you can find batteries first before buying it. I grew up using one of those. Big brother still has it hanging up in the garage. lol

I would stay away from it unless you need a conversation piece, The capacitors are probably dried out so even if you found the correct batteries it may not function properly.
