I recently found a 1911 PA Dog Tag Tax. It says 1911 on the bottom and it is made of brass. Looks like the PA state symbol. How much do you think it might be worth?

Because there's such a limited collector's market, it might be a tough sell?
Your best bet might be to throw in on eBay and let exposure dictate the price.
My buddy has dug a couple dozen tags dating to 1900. From what I've been told, a tag dating into the late 1800's makes it much more desirable. Good luck.

Yep I just found that out. I am shocked that a tag as old as 1911 has little to no value. It seems like anything pre-1900 does. Good to know.

i live i pittsburgh and once in a wile on craigs list a guy is looking to buy old ones. he may be a good place to start for a value.
