Some chains that I've kept over the years. Some had pendants some didn't. Damaged or fugly were scrapped long ago.
Determination, research, knowing your equipment and competition... and hot spots in a location.

If you ever visit the US would you consider sprinkling some of our beaches with that high carat gold? It doesn't have to be an entire chain just some bits and pieces would suffice :yes:

Hehe.. last time I visited the us the customs agent asked me too many questions. No better sight in the scoop than 24k. There is just no doubt about it

Oh Lord! Well....heres what happened...after of course reflex impulse puking all over my keyboard...I got to estimating logically, and heres what I came up with!

I thought to myself...."Thats 4+oz of 24k right there!" maybe 5+!...depending on how big your hands are, and since you have mentioned you are a pretty big guy, 240lb+ and 6'4" thereabouts, assuming your hands are proportional, I'm gonna say 6+oz...but then again, you may have really tiny hands, so it could only be 3?...Or, you could might have Andre the Giant Hands, in which case it would be 10+....

So yeah, early this am, this is exactly what was going through my mind when I shoulda been focused up on returning some business emails...for that, I hate you!...:laughing::laughing: Yeah..you put me through the mental wringer!

I sit here half a World away staring at my empty right palm...Gave it a good slap! "C'mon Dude! Wake the hell up and get busy! See this? What do you have to show for yourself?" "All you can do is scratch ass, pick nose and drink beer?"

Haha too funny Mud. Well I do have Andre he giant hands... and what the photo doesn't show is that handful is round like a baseball

OHHHHH! I figured as much! Heaped up like Mt Fuji! Now this has just gone too far! For educational purposes, you should dish the total weight with a preemptive warning...so a guy can get a drool towel handy, put on a fresh diaper, and have a nitro pill ready of course...Maybe have the Wife primed? You know, buy some flowers and a dinner before opening the post? Thats some damn Metal Detecting viagra right there.!..:laughing:

You've still got me beat on heaviest necklace... everytime I find 1 I get a memory flash of the honker you pulled out... and think to myself, "is this the day? Is this the chain that finally dethrones Mud on the heaviest chain?" Sadly, not yet

You can send that chain to me, never had 24 k around the neck, as far as the CTX3030s keeping mine, the Equinox 800 is just another tool , light, but get's the chains i hope, you never see that high end gold much over here , nice bling, Earl PS my gut feeling is , since your into making gold chains from melt, that's a bran new killer chain you made, but i will remain silent :D , don't tell us you made it at the end of this thread :lol:
