hello everyone im a newbie and am looking into getting a metal detector, i have been told to get a bounty hunter 4, but then also to save up and get a garett ace 250, what do you guys think

it comes down to how much info you want the detector to give ya, screen or no screen......personally i want as much info about what the target "could" be so i prefer a screened models.

If you save

Save for a fisher F2 and not a 250. The F2 smokes the Ace 250 in performance.
Tracker 4 is a great choice to start with if you are on a budget. Starting with a detector like that will only make you that much better when you are able upgrade to a more expensive unit with more features.
