Hi folks,

A poster said "ain't no 1911 cheap"

I have to agree.

Have you ever tallied up the cost of just one pistol rig?

You would think RIA's are cheap, but even on a budget,
it ain't cheap!!!

I have had my RIA 1911 A1 FS for a couple of months
now and have over 1,000 rounds through it..... I have
carried it through tha woods some and it has been just
great.

I was tallying up the cost of my beloved rig,

1911 A1 and Tax_________$416.86
Magazines________________ 44.00
Finger grooves______________9.86
Grips______________________3.00
Belt_______________________5.38
Mag Pouch_________________8.71
Holster____________________ -0-

Sub-Total_______________$487.81


Ammo _____ Approximately $375.00

Grand Total________________$850

In two months I have squandered away a bundle on just
one rig. That does not include shooting my PT99 and tha
PT92 I got my son, plus that ammo!!!

But I had fun....

I shutter ta think what they spend in tha Ed Brown crowd!!!

that is a great set up you have there. i had one of those a couple of years back . i think i paid 350 for it but sold it to support one of my other hobbies. wish now i still had it. the ammo now a days is the killer if you shoot a lot. great job on the grips i love the way they came out.
