After 2 years of fishing with my F2, I am ready to upgrade for the 2013 season. These 4 machines are on my short list. I mostly hunt old home sites in indiana where the soil is pretty good with respect to mineralization.
The waterproof AT pro could be nice, but I like the bigger display of the others. I like the knobs on the F5 and the ability to adjust threshold. But the F70 and AT Pro have higher frequencies than the F5 and the 8000 (better for small gold?). I definitely want a 11" DD coil rather than stock concentrics.
I'm not too sure which direction to go, so would appreciate any advice.
