Curious why you switched detectors mid way?

Hunting an area with a VLF metal detector has greater limitations such as depth and sensitivity to proximal targets to the coil creating an audio response. So, what ends up being a hunted out spot with few signals turns into an area with plenty of signals when switching to a pulse induction metal detector. Most of my coins found were not shallow recent drops, but deep coins probably from last year or older.
