Yeah, you come rolling up within a few inches of me on that mower while I'm detecting and you're getting a gloved hand presented forcefully about the face and head, trip to the county motel or not. Nice job on the restraint.

Good for you Digger, there is a line they usually cross and it starts with harassment. In your case he tried to mow you over along with your detector. LOL. Well deserved.

This is why I always go during off-hours, like after 4:00. Jerks are everywhere, best to avoid them.

Omg assault by lawnmower... that is a crazy story! I can't believe there's people who think metal detecting is a big no-no but who think nothing of assaulting someone, or damaging their property. I can't believe he tried to run over your detector! I would have been SO mad.

Good thing the cop served him a ticket, he deserved it.
