Went curbstrip hunting in the historic area of Fernandina Beach Florida. Lots of trash, 6 Memorial pennies and 2 Wheats ( 1944 & 1955).

Then the strange stuff rolled in.

Strangest was a 2 inch metal tube that has a woman’s face on the end. She looks like a combination of Carmen Miranda and a Mercurydime as she seems to have wings and fruit on her head. Reminds me of hobo art.

Then found a Timex watch that tooka licking and then stopped ticking. Found the bowl of a silver spoon and an ornate suspender clip that also appears to be silver. An antique lock, a brass buckle, a salt shaker cap, a lighter and a cap from a bottle of Sea-Bo ( a cheap wine sold in the 1940s and 50s) completed the finds

A VERY varied day!

Any makers mark on the suspender clip. I have one with a similar design that's marked,
Wilson Brothers,Pat'd Sept. 25th,1888. Nice find! BTW,thanks for researching what the Sea-Bo cap was from. I found a couple and had no clue what they were off of.
