Back to the same early 1950s school with Captain Silver this morning. Spent about four hours concentrating around the backstop and third base line of one of the ball fields. There is a walkway from the school that heads to that side of the field. I hit a merc within the first 15 minutes. Moved on to the walkway area/third base line. Hit a hole with two rosies in it after a few wheats. Managed a sterling ring, three more silver rosies, and a few more wheats during the rest of the time. Very pleased with this hunt. Hope for one more tomorrow before I head home to SC.
This might be my last CT trip for a while as the in-laws are moving down to SC permanently. I still hope to visit each summer to see Bruce and the guys. Bittersweet for sure....
