Gold Hunting

My old mate who taught me how to detect got back in touch after 2 years away working on the mines. So were going detecting in 2 weeks, I always called him Mr Midas as he falls over the yellow stuff. He recently found a new nugget 45 ounces which he is going to show me, so i cant wait to catch up and see where he found it and to see the nugget, Ill post a picture when i see it, and hope to find a couple myself. But ill be happy no matter what the size, this will be something to see. Ill keep you posted.

45 ounces! That's one BIG chunk of gold! I think I'm moving to Australia! What did he find it with Whitey? As of Friday that would be worth $43,456.50 US on the gold market!

Can't wait to see the pic! Now i wouldn't mind finding one of those. Guess I'll have to settle for small fry for now.
